Financial assistance and educational programs are provided for people with MS, family
members, caregivers and professionals.   Phone line offers a direct link to the
Information and Resource Help Desk in Denver, staffed with specially trained
professionals. They offer complete information on treatment options, symptom
management and referral services for local services and resources. locally, they offer
support and self-help groups: information and referral,-equipment loans and emergency
financial assistance.  A quarterly newsletter with mailing list of over 2,000
people with MS, family members and professionals in the community with the latest
research findings and a listing of all programs provided in the Panhandle area.
In Moore County, all of the above-mentioned services are provided, including a self-help
group with a trained group leader.  Our Moore County program services also include some case management/financial assistance for people with MS.
