Members of Dumas Intermediate School sponsored a Cancer Walk during the end of the school day on Thursday, October 28, 2010
Students participated in the walk came from all of the fifth and sixth grade classes at the Intermediate School. Pink ribbons were given to honoree's to show them their support. "Thanks to the community members who came out and did the walk. Thank you very much." said Principal Philip Rhodes.
This is the first year Dumas Intermediate School organized this event.
Shonda Nelson helped put this first time event together with the help of other staff members and the Dumas Cheerleaders.
