AC received $414,000 in May from the Texas Comptroller’s Office to purchase and equip a pair of 44-foot gooseneck trailers with self-contained training labs. Seen here is one of the gooseneck trailers bought to Dumas for the Higher Ground Lunch and Learn on Friday. October 1, 2010.  AC will use the mobile laboratories for on-site workforce retraining and to stimulate interest in renewable energy at schools and industry throughout the Panhandle.  Jack Stanley, chairman of AC’s Sciences and Engineering Division, got show the group attending the recently acquired trailer that well also be used to peak the interest of high school students in renewable energy.
