On Wednesday, October 28 this group of students visited Amarillo College to learn what they want to do when they grow up. Another words Career Planning. Amarillo College staff and speakers talked about the three stages of career planning. 1. Learn about yourself. 2. Learn about careers. 3. Develop your skills.
The students had two main speakers Danny Potter, Principal of Dumas Junior High and Rita Wilson with Top of Texas which helps students prepare for a technical career. Amarillo College has had a good relationship with Dumas ISD in helping them prepare students for the next stage of their life. A second group visited with Amarillo College on October 29th.
