Sheryl Hardy, and Dumas EDC Director, Mike Running

Sheryl Hardy accepts the State of Texas Small Business Award on behalf of Kerry Symons.  This award comes from the office of the Governor and Texas Workforce Commission for "Model for Business Skills Use 2010".

Kerry Symons is owner and operator for Perryton's Radio Shack.  Kerry opened his store in Perryton in 1975 with three employees and now has fifty-five employees in stores around the Panhandle.  Perryton's Radio Shack is the highest volume store in "the world".  Very impressive for a store in a city of it's size.  Kerry is also Chairman of the Board for the Perryton Community Development Corpration.

Sheryl Hardy is the Director of Economic Development in Perryton, Texas.
