Our city election is a simple election compared to Amarillo who has what 10 or 11 candidates running for Mayor or Fort Worth who have 109 candidates running for Mayor. Our city election consist of two candidates running for City Commissioner.
Those two candidates are Steve Bodnar and Gabriel Rodriguez who have filed to run for the two-year unexpired term left vacant by Don Parsons in February. It is just as important for voters to get out and vote for one of these candidates as it would be if we had several candidates.
It is up to you to decide if how your city is managed is important to you or not. Register to vote and make a difference in your own life.
To register to vote, applicants may go to the Texas Secretary of State’s website or go to your county courthouse for more information. In order to vote registration must be completed by April 14.
