Dumas To Host Regional Business Forum




In conjunction with the Governor's Office of Economic Development & Tourism, Office of Rural Development and the Texas Workforce Service Panel, Dumas EDC is holding a business forum for all regional local businesses. The event is slated for December 7 from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a business networking hour to follow. Scheduled for the event are sessions involving workforce related issues, finding funds for business development, strategies for marketing, business services available in the region and identifying opportunities. Renowned business and motivational speaker, Bob Goshen will give a keynote address entitled "Finding True North When Everything Seems to be Going South" and regional business awards will be presented. The cost for the event is $15 per person at the door and will be held at the Pheasant Trails Golf Course and 580 Restaurant in Dumas. RSVP is required in advance. Lunch will be provided and a sponsored Beers with Peers networking event will follow in order to encourage communication and deal making between regional businesses.
