Venable's win good neighbor award

Shelle Ahlden nominated and presented Scott and Stephanie Venable with the Good Neighbor Award from the Chamber.  Shelle describes a good neighbor as kind, righteous, honorable and supplies needed help to fellow human beings.  Ahlden says that the Venable's are a husband and wife team that are all of these things and more.  Shelle got a little emotional when she talked about what the Venable's did not only for her family when her grandfather passed away, but how the Venable's also helped the Chris Turner's family in a time of loss.  Some other things that people may not know about Scott and Stephanie Venable is how they contribute to our community with their time and talents such as sponsoring a Babe Ruth team, helping with the renovation of that field, contributing to the Moore County Jr. Livestock Show and helping to put together a benefit golf tournament for Roger Miller.
