$150 buys a two week supply of most seizure medication.

Epilepsy Foundation West Texas (EFWT) was established as a not-for-profit organization in 1972. EFWT provides education awareness, counseling, transportation and medical guidance/arrangements. Our services encompass the twenty-six counties of the Texas Panhandle and the fourteen counties of the South Plains.

The funds received from United Way of Moore County, Inc. will be utilized solely for clients/family members that reside in Moore County.  The funds are used to provide counseling to persons with epilepsy and their families.  Other services provided are medical guidance and arrangements, transportation, assistance, information and referral with access to the services of the Texas Panhandle Epilepsy Clinic with Dr. Michael Ryan, MD

Epilepsy Foundation West Texas provides the services of a case manager in Dumas on a quarterly basis.  The outreach site will be at Moore County Courthouse.
