Pat Sims and Mike Funk went to visit the statue being made in honor the Ding Dong Daddy.

Seen to the right is the hat being ready for the fiberglass coating to be applied before it will be constructed for for travel.

Boots that would be hard for anybody to try to fill.  Isn't that right Mayor Sims?

Mr. Keough recommends a four foot by four foot pedestal which will be prepared for the arrival of the Ding Dong Daddy statue on October 16, 2010.

Mr. DiPiazza said the statue is considered a tourism attraction and has been paid for with hotel/motel tax money. 
No money from the city budget will be or has been spent to pay for the statue.
